Clippy Can Still Help

Clippit, or Clippy, was Microsoft Office’s help assistant. Clippy was supposed to help you with document-oriented tasks, his specialty being letter-drafting. However, Clippy mainly focused on blocking your screen and crashing Word.



Though Clippy was well-intentioned, he usually was as beneficial as rheumatoid arthritis. Even Microsoft employees complained about him. Clippy was eventually replaced with nothing in future versions, which most agreed was a huge improvement.

Despite his checkered past, there are a lot of people that could’ve used Clippy’s very helpful hints last week. Here are a few of them:
